About the event
Hacktoberfest Hack Day is a one-day community hack day for learning and building with open-source AI. Attendees bring an existing project or start a new one, try out local models, LLM integrations, and open-source agent frameworks, and build alongside each other. No experience is required.
It is open to students, from grade school through college, and to working professionals. The event is free to attend and is listed on Major League Hacking (opens in new tab).
- When: Saturday, October 17, 2026, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Where: 757 Makerspace, 16 Murray St, Hampton, VA 23651
- Hosted by: RevolutionVA, with 757 Makerspace as venue partner
Where the money goes
Sponsorship covers what it takes to run the day: food and drinks for attendees, supplies, and prizes. RevolutionVA is run by volunteers with no paid staff, so none of it becomes salary.
Questions
Can we pay by invoice instead of card?
Yes. Get in touch and we will send an invoice and a W-9.
How do we send our logo?
Checkout asks for the website your logo should link to. After you pay, reply to the invoice email with your logo (SVG or a high-resolution PNG), or send it through our contact page.
Is this a tax-deductible donation?
No. A sponsorship is a payment for public recognition, not a charitable donation. You will receive a paid invoice by email for your records; check with your tax advisor about how to treat it. RevolutionVA is a 501(c)(3) organization, EIN 81-0738973.
